Dishwasher Detergent

from $10.00

If you’ve ever read the ingredients on the label of your liquid dishwasher detergent, you were likely met with a long list of mysterious ingredients. After experiencing this my self, I decided to do some research and found that many of those ingredients pollute our waterways. After playing around with several recipes (sometimes with suds pouring out of the dishwasher), I landed securely on this formulation; it’s a sturdy combination of our small batch liquid castile, cocamidopropyl betaine and washing soda. It is both highly effective and safe for the environment.

Some users find that adding a little vinegar to the rinse compartment gives your dishes an added shine.

Application: As with all natural dishwashing detergents, it is recommended to rinse dishes well before putting them into the dishwasher. We recommend 2-3 Tablespoons per load.

Another helpful hint— if your dishwasher starts to smell funky (as they all do from time to time), sprinkle citric acid along the bottom of your washer and let it run empty.

Liquid Dishwasher Soap Ingredients: Distilled Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Carbonate, Vegetable Glycerin, Alpha Amylase, Coconut Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Euxyl®PE-9010, Xanthum Gum

Use only as directed. Keep out of eyes. External use only. Best stored in a cool, dark place and used within 3 months of purchase.
